Mountain Xpress Give!Local campaign features Muddy Sneakers as environmental nonprofit

Here is an exciting new way to support our work alongside other amazing nonprofits serving Asheville and the greater WNC region.

It’s called Give!Local and we couldn’t be more excited to have a spot on their inaugural roster (not to mention we think it’s one of the best ideas in fund raising/crowd funding to come along in a while)!

The end-of-year fundraising initiative has officially begun. The online giving site went live in November and the fun lasts 60 days, ending at midnight on New Year’s Eve. This proven fundraising model, which started in Portland, Ore., has found success across the country. The website is accepting donations now with some great incentive gifts, drawings, and ‘Big Give’ days to note between now and the end of the year. Giving starts at only $10!
