Berkeley Bryant

Berkeley Bryant is a collaborative and creative professional with experience in philanthropy and community-based work. In her role as Program & Membership Manager for the Blue Sky Funders Forum, she leads the design and execution of a range of programs and events, bringing together funders and nonprofit leaders for learning and connection. A strong interest in the history, structure, and impact of philanthropy informs her work. She is committed to thoughtful, effective approaches to grantmaking and nonprofit practice. Her recent publication of the website Understanding Participatory Grantmaking, developed as part of her Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from NC State University, reflects this focus.

Berkeley values the opportunity to elevate multiple perspectives and stories within the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. In addition, she enjoys supporting others as they deepen their understanding of responsible leadership. She lives in North Carolina with her partner and their pets, Libby, Bugs, and Boone. Outside of work, Berkeley Bryant enjoys reading, baking, embroidery, and spending time outdoors. She especially values meaningful conversations shared around the dinner table.
