Meet Core Instructor Kelsey Bond! Kelsey brings a wealth of scientific expertise and a passion for environmental education to her role at Muddy Sneakers. With a diverse background as a chemist in the Air Force, pharmaceutical, and tobacco industries, Kelsey has a deep understanding of scientific principles and processes. She joined Muddy Sneakers to focus on blending her scientific knowledge with her love for the environment and education.
Kelsey’s mission at Muddy Sneakers is to inspire and empower students to become thoughtful and responsible environmental stewards. Through immersive outdoor experiences, she aims to foster a connection between young learners and the natural world. She hopes this connection will encourage curiosity, exploration, and a lifelong commitment to environmental care.
Outside of her work with Muddy Sneakers, Kelsey enjoys hiking with her two dogs, gardening, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. A true coffee lover, Kelsey grew up just outside of Seattle, a place known for its rich coffee culture and stunning natural landscapes.
Kelsey is excited to share her journey and enthusiasm with the Muddy Sneakers community. She looks forward to many adventures and learning opportunities with her students in the great outdoors. We are grateful to have Kelsey Bond on our team!
