STATEWIDE IMPACT

Nature Is Our Classroom

Muddy Sneakers turns North Carolina’s nearly 4 million acres of preserved public land into outdoor classrooms.

Muddy Sneakers field trips take place on public lands throughout North Carolina, connecting children to local landscapes.

NORTH CAROLINA SITES

Muddy Sneakers partners with sites across the state, from city parks to national forests, engaging students in hands-on science experiences in nature’s learning lab. Our team takes care of all the details, like securing permits and identifying the best spaces to park, learn, and lunch, so you and your group can focus on the Muddy Sneakers experience!

See the list below for some of the spaces we have used as outdoor classrooms!

Students gather around a map of Julian Price Memorial Park Trail System before their field trip on the site.
