Muddy Sneakers is more than an organization—it’s a movement to reconnect children with the natural world. Our mission is to awaken a love of learning and nature in every child we serve. We do this through experiential outdoor education, where lessons extend beyond the classroom and into North Carolina’s breathtaking natural landscapes. From the mountains to the coast, our programs empower students to explore, question, and connect with the natural world in ways that inspire a lifetime of curiosity and stewardship.
