Field Instructors

Muddy Sneakers is always interested in hearing from prospective instructors and welcomes your inquiries. New instructors are hired on an as-needed basis in January and August of each year. Internship Opportunities

Camp Muddy Sneakers Summer Intern

Camp Muddy Sneakers in WNC is seeking a talented, energetic college naturalist and/or educator with past experience instructing children and/or working as a summer camp counselor. This intern will participate in seven weeks of camp sessions along with 2-3 weeks of administrative work prior to the start of camp. This is a unique opportunity to work on both the administrative and field side of a non-profit camp. View the job description here. Schoolyear Internships

Muddy Sneakers takes on administrative interns in the Brevard office periodically throughout the year and has in the past partnered with Americorps Project Conserve. Interns are asked to commit a minimum of three months and each is given the opportunity to learn about the inner-workings of a young but rapidly growing non-profit.
