Originally from North Florida, a roundabout trail of adventures eventually brought Stephanie to Upstate South Carolina, where she has lived since 2013. She fell in love with nature at a young age during camping trips across North America with her family. Upon arriving in South Carolina, she began work with the State Park Service as an Assistant Interpreter, leading field trips for second- and fifth-graders at Paris Mountain State Park. After having kids, she left the workforce for a few years, and shifted her attention to raising her children in the outdoors. She volunteered as the Greenville Branch Ambassador of Hike it Baby from 2015-2021, empowering other families to experience nature with their young children. When not working, Stephanie enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and cross-stitching.
