Come discover art in nature with Muddy Sneakers at the NC Zoo!

Join us for crafts and activities in celebration of the NC Science Festival!

Saturday, April 15th
10am – 2pm (hikes begin at 11:30 and 1:30 and last approximately 30 minutes)
NC Zoo (exact booth location TBD)
Muddy Sneakers activities are free, however, Zoo admission is required
Simply stop by our booth to participate! Pre-register to reserve your space on the hike.

For our second consecutive year, we are proud to be co-hosting a North Carolina Science Festival event! In celebration of this year’s theme, “Full STEAM ahead”, we’ll be celebrating the intersection of science and the arts at the NC Zoo.

Stop by the Muddy Sneakers booth while enjoying your day at the zoo and let your creativity flow through a variety of family-friendly activities, such as:
• nature stamping
• mud painting, and
• invasive plant jewelry making.

In addition, we’ll be hosting a family-friendly sensory nature hike to explore the Zoo’s trails from a new perspective!
