Hendersonville Woman’s Club recognizes Muddy Sneakers

Muddy Sneakers is honored to be part of the Hendersonville Woman’s Club’s “Year of Giving.”

Muddy Sneakers staff members gratefully accept a check from the Hendersonville Woman’s Club.

Sarah Clayton chose Muddy Sneakers as the club’s August “Year of Giving” recipient.

“As a former fifth-grade teacher for Henderson County Schools, I had the opportunity to see and experience first-hand the impact the Muddy Sneakers program had on our students,” Clayton said. “When students get to fifth grade, it is a whole new world of science vocabulary and concepts they are responsible for learning. It can be challenging to find methods to truly implement learning of all these new concepts, especially if the student does not have a solid foundation of prior knowledge and experiences. This is where the magic happens within the Muddy Sneakers!”
