Muddy Sneakers awarded Glass Foundation grant

Muddy Sneakers was honored to be awarded a grant of $23,400 by the Asheville-based Glass Foundation this past week. The grant will be specifically used to duplicate Muddy Sneakers’ field equipment and purchase a second vehicle in order to accommodate future expansion of the program into more schools across the organization’s current four-county WNC program area, specifically in the areas of Buncombe and Henderson county school districts.

We deeply appreciate this significant support as it exemplifies the regional partnerships necessary to ensure experiential education programming remains an integral part of public school curriculum across WNC.
